JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Job Summary: As a leader in the IT department, and an employee responsible for organisation-wide systems and information, an IT Manager job description should include the following duties and responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities:
- Overseeing and determining timeframes for major IT projects, including system updates, upgrades, migrations, and outages
- Managing and reporting on the allocation of the IT budget:
- Providing direction for IT team members
- Identifying opportunities for team training and skills advancement
- Running regular checks on network and data security
- Identifying and acting on opportunities to improve and update software and systems
- Developing and implementing IT policy and best practice guides for the organization
- Designing training programs and workshops for staff
- Conducting regular system audits
- Running and sharing regular operation system reports with senior staff
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- At-least 4 years experiences as a System administrator (Linux) position
- Have experience in network administration, LAN/WAN networking, load balancing, firewall device
- Have experience in Office365 Global admin
- Good understanding of virtualization platforms (Xen, KVM, Vmware,..)
- Have knowlegde of web services like nginx, apache, proxy,…
- Ability to write bash, powershell scripts
- Have experience in Docker
- Good command of English is essential
- Ability to write technical support, report documentation
- ISO9000 Experience
Nice to have
- Certifications of CCNA, MCSA
- Worked under ISO 27001 standard
Preferred:
- Willingness to work flexible hours when needed
- Good at interpersonal communication skills
- Understanding of customer satisfaction principles and practices
- Ability to work under pressure
- Proactive and able to solve problem efficiently
